Online Application
This will take around 30 minutes to complete. It requires you to fill out your personal details, education history and any work experience you have. PwC are interested in your achieved grades, your experience and the applicable skills you have developed. There will be some questions around technology which require longer answers.

Psychometric Test
This stage is very unique tio PwC and is not your standard numerical and verbal reasoning tests. This stage is called “Career Unlocked” and features a series of game-like scenarios. The test has around 25 mini games and exercises which are timed and takes around 30 to 45 minutes to complete.
Example task
On your screen there will be a button which will blow up balloons. The more you blow up the balloon, the more money you can sell it for. The aim of the game is to finish with as much money as possible. However, when you press the button, there is a chance of the balloon popping at any stage.
How to respond for success
These games are designed to judge your risk taking skills and time management. However it is unclear how PwC uses the results to assist in their decision making. A score of 8,500 or more will significantly increase your chances to move to the next stage.

Video Interview
This stage is relatively standard for the industry, a typical online interview which requires you to answer questions based on workplace scenarios. You will have a 6 week period to complete this stage which will take you no more than 30-45 minutes to complete . This interview will be a series of questions (in written text form) which require you to record your answers.

A typical interview question would be “Why have you chosen to apply to PwC”.
How to respond for success
Our insight recommends that you follow the PwC core values and incorporate them in your answers to demonstrate that you would be the perfect person for the role. PwC’s online interview is filtered with an algorithm before human review. It is strongly recommended to keep eye contact with the camera and make natural hand gestures, like you would when talking to a person. This software tracks your engagement and human interaction, rather than the content of your answer, this will be for an invigilator to examine.

Assessment Centre
You will be put into groups of around 10-20 and will be asked to read a booklet which has a heavy focus on information about technological solutions such as blockchain, big data, drones etc. You will be split into smaller groups to discuss which of the tech solutions were the best for a particular client's needs and present them. Just before presenting, the invigilators might come in with an ‘emergency’ which means that the team members are swapped around to form new teams. You then have 5-10 minutes to redo your preparation for the presentation. All of the invigilators will be observing and watching your presentation.
After the main part of the Assessment Centre , there is a 1-on-1 interview with one of the recruiters to reflect on the day’s events, why you want to work for PwC and why you think you would be good for the role.
Example task
You will be likely to present a solution to how you would serve a potential PwC client with technologies such as, blockchain, big data and drones.
How to respond for success
Always bear in mind the core values of the company and try to relate them to your presentation. You do not need to explicitly mention them, but keep them in mind when you are presenting. You are being asked to present a solution for a client, so by making the interviewers feel like you are already part of PwC.
