Day in the life

We interviewed Prajoti on what she experienced during a typical day at work. This section is to provide you with an insight into what it's really like to work as an Analyst at PA Consulting.

Wake up

I wake up at 8am and start my day at 9am as I work from home. The morning will consists of catching up with my team via video call and or ups email.

Daily tasks

My day is structured around priorities and deadlines. This is shown on a kanban board. This will also keep the team updated on the progress of each task. As a consultant, I speak to my clients and understand their needs and requirements regularly. Currently, I speak to them on a daily basis, therefore stakeholder management is key. My afternoon will consist of a follow up from the conversations I’ve had with the clients. Are there any changes? How can they be performed?

Finish

I normally finish around 5.30pm. During busy times of the year it can can vary by a few hours.

Evening work

I rarely find myself needing to work on evenings.
